All that we are, all that we create is reared from our minds. without the mind of man god is nonexistent when your brain is totally decomposed im sure there will be a problem with any thought.

Jul 22,  · It is important to remember that heaven is a real place. Many times we think of heaven as some sort of translucent, spacey, endless church service. Some may think, I am not sure I don't know if I am going to like heaven and just sitting around on a cloud, strumming a harp, singing forever. I kind of like earth. But that is a misunderstanding about heaven.

Jan 18,  · Since everything will become NEW [new heaven and a new earth (Revelation )], what is now considered the first heaven [earth’s atmosphere (Genesis )] will obviously be gone, together with the disappearance of the sea (all bodies of water evaporated and burned up by that great fire that will engulf this whole earth [2 Peter ]).

The heaven Jesus described is not an ethereal realm of disembodied spirits. A place is by nature physical, just as human beings are by nature physical as well as spiritual. What we are suited for — what we've been specifically designed for — is the place God originally made for us: earth.

Jan 10,  · What we cannot do, however, is stop the current or change its direction. We are caught in the grip of time. Yet Heaven offers us an escape. There we can live forever, surrounded by those for whom we care, and safe in the eternal home, abiding in the light and goodness of God. The vision is compelling, even if unreasonable.

We know that we can't do anything without God's help. This is why prayer is our source. It unlocks heaven and silences hell. Prayer is already powerful, it doesn't need power, it needs practice. So we are passionate about prayer because it connects to God who is our source. Prayer is our life line.

Scholastic heaven of Thomas Aquinas in thirteenth century, overarching vision of austerity. All motion/decay/growth ends, souls dwell in knowledge of God. depth/intensity of knowledge varies between souls, place of hierarchy not equity opposite of Protestants and resurrection sees souls divinely refleshed but not restoration of earthly things.
